Moodle Displaying Incorrect Name

When Moodle displays the incorrect name, it is most often due to an error with the preferred first name on record. In many cases these errors result in the last name being repeated or nicknames unintentially being used. Once your preferred first name is changed with the Registrar's Office, your name in Moodle will be updated. To request a preferred name change, follow the below steps.

  1. Login to myLSUS
  2. Click on Records in the top yellow bar
  3. Click on Forms
  4. Select the change preferred first name form
  5. Follow the on screen steps to update your preferred name
