LSUS Email Forwarding

LSUS Email Forwarding

You are able to forward your email to another email address that you own. This is done through the Outlook Web Access (OWA) webpage. Please note all forwarded email is retained on LSUS email servers.

Office 365 is in the process of rolling out a 'new look'. When you log in to your email in the top right will be a toggle for the new look.

NEW LOOK:

1) If you are a student log into mail.lsus.edu. If you are faculty or staff log into access.lsus.edu

2) Click on the "Cog" button in the top right corner of the screen.

3) Click on "View all Outlook settings" in the bottom right."

4) Click"Mail."

5) Click  "Forwarding."

6) Check "Enable forwarding" then enter the desired email address.

7) Click "Save" to save the rule.


You now have created an inbox rule that will forward any email that arrives into your LSUS inbox to a specified email address.

OLD LOOK:

1) If you are a student log into mail.lsus.edu. If you are faculty or staff log into access.lsus.edu

2) Click on the "Cog" button in the top right corner of the screen.

3) Click on "Options."

4) Click"Inbox and sweep rules" on the left under "Mail."

5) Click  on the "+" button. 

6) Give your rule a name. For example "LSUS Email Forwarding."

7) Under "When the message arrives..." select "[Apply to all messages]."

8) Under "Do all of the following" select "Forward, redirect, or send" then select "Forward this message to..."

9) Enter the appropriate email next to "Forward the message to..." then click "Save."

10) Add any exceptions if needed.

11) Click "Save" to save the rule.


You now have created an inbox rule that will forward any email that arrives into your LSUS inbox to a specified email address.
